About QuarterCharts

What it is

QuarterCharts is a free financial-data visualization platform for US-listed public equities. We build Sankey diagrams, multi-statement charts, and per-ticker fundamental dashboards directly from SEC EDGAR XBRL filings — the same data issuers file every quarter, presented in a form designed for human analysis rather than regulatory compliance.

Why it exists

SEC EDGAR is the most authoritative + most underused financial-data source in the world. The filings are public, machine-readable, and free — but they're delivered as a flood of XBRL XML that few investors ever look at directly. Existing consumer-facing tools (Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, etc.) summarize a fraction of what's filed and rarely surface the deeper disclosures (segments, dimensional breakouts, hedge attribution, regulatory assets, etc.) that move the analytical needle.

QuarterCharts reads every dimensional axis the issuer tagged + presents the result as time-series charts and flow diagrams. That's the whole pitch.

What's covered today

Country: United States (us.quartercharts.com). Roughly 6,000 actively-filing tickers. Coverage: 10-K, 10-Q, 10-K/A, 10-Q/A.

Statement coverage: Income, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Key Metrics — across ~180 chart cards spanning the standard fundamentals plus 20+ deep-XBRL dimensional panels (segment revenue, geographic breakouts, hedging activity, debt schedule, equity rollforward, pension/OPEB, ETR reconciliation, M&A acquisitions, litigation cases, goodwill by segment, restructuring, VIE consolidation, bank loan portfolio, insurance reserves by accident year, energy-well aging, REIT property portfolio, utility rate base + AFUDC, and more).

History: trailing 10 years per ticker, capped at the issuer's earliest XBRL filing.

What's coming

QuarterCharts is the first instance of a multi-country platform. Future country sites (ca.quartercharts.com, uk.quartercharts.com, etc.) will follow the same template, sourced from each country's regulatory disclosure system (Companies House for UK, SEDAR+ for Canada, EDINET for Japan, and so on). The ultimate goal is one platform spanning every public-equity market on Earth.

Roadmap also includes: stock screener (filter by 100+ KPIs), sector + industry landing pages, comparable peers, news + analyst coverage, dividends + IPO calendars, ETF analysis, and a public API for developers.

Who built it

BLIP COMPANY LLC (Delaware, USA). QuarterCharts is the company's first product. Every part of the platform — extraction, audit, fix, deploy, the very page you're reading — was built by AI agents under product direction.
